The Mists Closing In
As the mists start to close in over the Fairelands once more, another successful Fantasy Faire comes to a close. Memories made, friends made, old and new, Entertainment and dancing until we dropped. All these things and more will have to make do until next year. Fun, frolics, DJ's, Lit Fests, Books read, Authors and quotes. Fab Poems written and read by Sidhe, all to be enjoyed until we meet again next year to do it all again. The fabulous world Builders are breathing a breath of a job very well done.
As the next few weeks fly by, we may, if we are lucky, catch something in the corner of our eye, a fairy, a puff of coloured dust from Holi, something that reminds you of the flowers from the Wraithwoods or a cave that transports you back to the Yuum Baalal Grotto, Our memories remain, in our heads, in our photographs, in Blogs and on Flickr. Remember us. Remember the great times, the fabulous people we saw, met, friended, forgot to friend but will catch up with at some point and do just that. Do not forget to carry on keeping on because RFL will not. With events across the Grid to come, keep donating and one day the Un Weaver will not be able to do his doings and we will still Faire on because celebrating life, love and our friends and family who have left us or remain and survive is what we do best.
Thank you one and all for being here with us, for taking part, for loving the Faire as we do, for being a Fairelander through and through.
