She raises her eyes to the sky, noticing the hues are changing. She breathes deeply, both scenting and tasting the changes in the air. She smiles and wraps her arms around herself tightly as she jiggles about.  She runs and tells everyone she can find.............It's almost here, I can taste the mists changing, clearing a little in the air, the scents of all the fabulousness, the amazing treasure to be found, THE FAIRE IS COMING, PEOPLE. She talks quickly and then shouts her findings.

Yes indeed folks, The Fantasy Faire is on its way, opening LATER TODAY (Keep your eyes peeled for notices for when the mists have cleared) on the 23rd of April, be ready to shop until you drop, be ready to explore and find the amazing, to see, hear and find all the glorious things that the World Makers, the Designers, the Faire Folk, the Musicians, the DJ's, Dancers, Troupes, Readers, wow, I am about out of descriptives but keep your eyes on the Fantasy Faire Website for all the details.

Standby for all the wonders to be scoured, to be found, to be hunted.........Ah yes, the annual Hunt, the silent Auction, the Events both planned and surprises.........be ready for all of it and last. but never least...The Fantasy Faire Ball!

The Holly Demon is a sly one, she hides within the trees that host the Holly Plants in winter, In Summer she takes to the deepest darkest parts of the forest to await Winter.  When her time arrives she slowly makes her way out of the forests to hide in sight of Humans to await and see who she can prickle.  When she makes her choices, only a few are chosen, she prickles them in her embrace and turns them into her tribe.  The turning of a human into a Holly Demon is not lovely but relatively painless and soon she will have a full bushel of Holly to call her own!

Slaying those who would wish to hurt them, Her kind were once creatures of the night but now were day walkers thanks to evolutionary processes that she had no idea how that worked but still the bite of certain others could hurt them, so patrolling their home was a time consumptive job.  She dispatched them and buried them quietly in a corner of the graveyard so as not to cause suspicion.  Now, to go clean her glorious blade!

The Fantasy Faire 2020 - 29 days to go!

A new journey!

For a start - Let's start getting excited about This year's Fantasy Faire with 29 DAYS TO GO until the biggest and best Event in the Second Life Calendar!

The mists shall clear and with all the luck in the lands, The 2020 Fantasy Faire will emerge and appear to us on the 23rd of April and usually disappear around the 9th of May when the mists close back around the Fairelands until the next time.

The Fantasy Faire is not just about shopping from your favourite stores and soon to be new favourite stores and for helping and giving to the biggest cause of our times, American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.  The Magic and events range from The Fantasy Faire Quest, The Fantasy Faire Radio, The Literary Events, The Roleplay Events, The Performance Events and so, so, much more.  They seriously do have to be seen to be believed and pictures, nor tales never do them enough justice.  So plan your Fantasy Faire ahead of time and make it this year's HIGHLIGHT of your Second Life Diary!

The Fantasy Faire in 2019 relayed a massive L$17,043,433 ($68,173) of which 100% goes straight to The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

If you are in any way looking forward to this year's Faire as much as I am, then be ready to get really excited, as it will be lands of beauty, stores of amazement and scenes of jaw-dropping wowness!

The LoveFest 2018 is now Open and is doing a roaring trade so come on down and grab some fabulously dark and creepy as well as gorgeous bargains. This is not to be missed.  As there is a hold up with the hunt the festival has now extended its closing date until the first weekend in September - yay more time for shopping.

If you do not know what the LoveFest is about, its all about the Author called Howard Phillip Lovecraft who was one of the original Wierd/ Gothic/Fantasy/Horror writers of the early 19th century.  He wrote short stories, Poetry Novels etc and wrote The Call of Cthulu which I was lucky enough to read and learn more about in senior school thanks to a majorly progressive Teacher back in the 80's.  H.P. Lovecraft was relatively unknown until after his death when his books gained great notoriety and became very famous.  Lovecraft Festival 2018 is scheduled around Lovecraft’s Birthday in mid-August – this year - as the late, great H.P.
